AIRAH TRADE NIGHT 2011 & OTHER NEWS

We have been travelling to various AIRAH Trade Nights and were assisted in Melbourne by our agent Raj in May. We find them an excellent opportunity to display our wares and show what developments have occurred since the last visit. Also a good chance to catch up with friends in the industry.

The picture below shows one of our recent innovations; a simple but effective mounting system allowing AirLight air diffusers to be installed independent of the light module.

There is nothing like seeing and touching AirLight to understand its many attributes and the detailed design that has been incorporated.

We had it working in concert with a variable speed fan coil unit so it was easy for visitors to see how well it works.

Designers and engineers appreciated the simplicity and cleverness of the concept the modular componentry and the design solutions that fulfil our claim; "thoroughly engineered for low energy and flexibility".

Contractors were quite taken by the simplified installation. Builder/developers were pleased that such an innovative and high quality product was within a competitive and reasonable price range.

POSITIVE FEEDBACK

Tenants of buildings where AirLight is already in use appreciate
their much improved interior environment.

Owners of these buildings appreciate the cost savings and ease of
installation. Interestingly, in one case the installation took place
floor by floor in weekends to avoid disruption to the tenants.

Everyone likes that it is designed and manufactured in Australia.

WINNERS 2009 AIRAH AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN INNOVATION

We felt it was a huge honour to be given this award by the Australian Institute of Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heating, and we were thrilled to bits.

The AirLight idea came out of thirty years Consulting Engineering experience in Building Services where a better solution to ceiling services was needed. The concept was patented seven years ago but the manufacture and subsequent installation of AirLight began less than two years ago which makes this AIRAH award all the more gratifying.

AIRLIGHT TRILOGY

The trilogy provides light module, air diffuser module and return air in one neat, elegant package that fits into a 600 x 600 ceiling grid.

Being essentially linear, other dimensions such as 1200 x 600 can be made. It is available in 250 mm overall height which allows it to fit in tight ceilings.

We took it to several architects who were more than impressed with the combined features and felt sure they would be using it in the near future.
